Anniversary/valentines presents for guys - flowers or not?

Do guys like getting flowers for Valentines day/anniversaries, or is it strictly girls only? Why or why not? If not, what is preferable? Students - would you be embarassed if you received flowers from your partner during the school or university day? Thanks all :)

2. Well, I'm a student, and I would prefer getting Valentine cards and candy, instead of flowers. Usually, guys give flowers to girls, and not vice versa. I really hope this helps! SK8R Dude
3. To give flowers to guys, I guess the majority of them won´t like that gift! But if a girl gives them a kiss and saying she loves him, that is already a good present on the Valentine´s day to them!
