should i by my exgirlfriend flowers for our "anniversary"?

weve dated for like 5 years she broke up with me and said she need to find herself but wanted to be friends we do talk and see each other but it seems tough for both of us. i know i still love her. i know she loves me but is flowers to much or just a nice gesture to show her i still care.
