Need Help Choosing the color flowers to put on My parents anniversary cake?

We are having an Anniversary gathering for our parents. I am getting a 1/2 sheet cake baked. I need help choosing the color flowers for the cake. The background is white. The border is purple. What colors can I use for the flowers on the cake? Any other suggestions on what to put on the cake?

1. Lilac, or a light shade of purple. If you want more than one colour, then light pink and light blue would look good too. :]
