Flowers for his birthday too girly?

We date long distance and he's been in town for the past month on break. Unfortunately he's leaving on the day before his birthday, and I really want to do something romantic for him on that day. Would it be too girly to send him flowers on his birthday? If no, what type of flowers should I send?

3. make a mix cd or put a mix playlist on his ipod so he has some good tunes to listen to while on the trip home.
4. Personally I rekon flowers r 2 girly. Maybe dinner or sumfing the night b4 he does. A romantic dinner and a present. Im sorry if I sounded mean but what would boys do wiv flowers? Girls but em in a vase and look and em and stuff and apreciate it. Boys would seem not so manly doing that and getting flowers. Hope this helps :]]
5. um.... flowers for a guy...no. why would he want flowers? that's the last thing a dude would want. don't get a guy flowers.
