What flowers would be good for her birthday?

It's my friends birthday (I like her and I want to impress her)... so what are the best type of flowers to get her??? Its her birthday...?

1. if you want it to mean you like her i would stick with the classic, roses. or ask her friend what kind of flowers she likes.
2. Most guys always jump to roses, but I don't really like roses, most girls dont. Get her some Lilys (or lilies, dont remember) are always great. They are big beautiful, and smell wonderful :)
