What flowers to send girlfriend for birthday?

I have a girlfriend turning 18, I am 18 as well, but we are at different colleges so I wont be able to see her for her birthday. We've only been dating for about 3 months so its not real serious, but I want it to be somewhat special since I dont get to see her for a while. Her favorite colors are light greens to blues, which limits color range, but I dont believe she has a favorite flower. Any ideas would be tremendous.

1. Brother just make sure they are not wilted? I think any bouquet of flowers will work. But I am a guy so do not take my word for it
2. Dont do the cliche roses, everybody does that. 3. Well, green and blue flowers do exsist. You know what else would be a neat idea? Have Edible Arrangments deliver her an edible bouquet of "flowers".
